Yes, raining again in London. My look for the day consists of an Aquilano Rimondi coat, Celine bag and trousers, Hermès scarf, and Common Project sneakers.
The secret to Fashion Week survival: lots of fresh lemon and ginger tea!
London skyline: Tate Modern and St. Paul’s. A bit of the old and the new under a moody gray sky.
Insanely good knitwear by Christopher Kane for Fall/Winter 2016.
Discover a day in the life of Boutique 1’s new Director of Brand Strategy, Paula Reed, as she takes on LFW.
As the fashion industry heads into a period of change and evolution, brand strategists have become integral figures as brands figure out how to navigate the new era of consumer-facing, “see now, buy now” marketing changes. As Boutique 1, the luxury fashion retailer with stores in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Beirut, prepares to launch for the first time ever in a new market with the opening of a store on Sloane Street in London, they have sought the help of Paula Reed. As the newly appointed Director of Brand Strategy for Boutique 1, Reed is tasked with articulating the brand’s vision and acting as a liaison between Boutique 1 and its clients and stakeholders. This role is particularly important in light of the company’s entry into a new market, which is why Reed headed to London Fashion Week to view the Fall/Winter 2016 collections. Not only is LFW a breeding ground for fashion innovation, but it is also an incubator for emerging designers. The discovery of new talent is one of Boutique 1’s main draws as a brand. Reed invited Savoir Flair readers to join her for a day at LFW with a personal photo diary that takes us inside the shows and around the city of London as she explores the Fall/Winter 2016 collections through her phone lens.
