In two short years, Fadia Dekmak went from having an idea to producing one of the region’s most wanted accessories: the Tchitchi Doll. “Fashion has always been my passion, and this idea first came to me when I decided to make a doll for my friend’s daughter,” Dekmak shares with Savoir Flair in an exclusive interview. “We experimented with many sizes and I fell in love with the smallest one. That’s how Tchitchi Doll was born.” The Beirut-based brand’s bag charms saw nearly instant success, appearing on the arms of the region’s most influential trendsetters, including the likes of Mona Kattan and Alanoud Badr. Although they were originally intended as a fashion accessory for young girls, women all over the world fell in love with the dolls’ adorable outfits and furry accents. Now, Dekmak offers 30 different designs in a variety of colors, with dresses that can be personalized with letters and different crystals. “Every doll means something special to me and has a place in my heart,” Demak shares, and it’s clearly her personal touch that makes these precious accessories stand out.
