For Fall/Winter 2014, Marios Schwab mixes business with leather. With sex and romance balanced by edginess and sass, Schwab was able to present a quirky-cool collection that kept us guessing until the end.
His muse this season is a youthful nonconformist: one who wears sexy modified suit-jacket-turned-sheath-dresses with a peek of lacy underpinnings, who pits a gauzy slip dress against a menacing metal choker, and who lets a tail of feathers trail behind her attached to a dramatic opera scarf. London is big on counter-culture, and natives will flock to Schwab’s embroidered bomber jacket, printed sweatshirts, and pieced-together leather minis. However, there is a savory amount of minimalist separates, smart dresses with single sleeves, and unique, chiffon evening dresses that hold universal fashion appeal. Most women utilize clothing to individuate their personalities, and there are plenty of unusual, hip, and innovative looks here to entice and satisfy that need.
