The classic Burberry trench not only gets a modern update, but also a Middle Eastern one, with the brand’s latest project, ‘The Art of the Trench’, starring influencers from creative communities around the region. Over 30 tastemakers from the film, art, design, food, sports, media, fashion, music, digital, entertainment, and business sectors were tapped for this exciting project. For Savoir Flair readers, there are some very familiar faces in the mix, like Womena co-founder Elissa Freiha, Iranian gallery owner Sanaz Askari, Jordanian fashion designer Nafsika Skourti, Alamira Noor Bani Hashim and Buthaina Al Muzrai of Dinner Club No. 57, and Palestinian style influencers Sama and Haya Khadra, but the rest of the world is meeting these exciting personalities for the first time through this pioneering project. These gorgeous portraits aren’t the only thing Burberry has in store for the project; in fact, they are also debuting a series of events and activities that will delve into the rich history of each creative influencer and will reveal the full breadth of images across all of its social media platforms.
