Over 300 guests gathered on Sunday night at Savoir Flair Founding Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Haleh Nia’s home to celebrate the launch of the #TheNewSF (read more on this, here).
“I wanted the party to maintain Savoir Flair’s signature style, with a more sleek edge in order to mirror our newly relaunched site,” Nia explains of the alfresco party’s aesthetic. This vision, which was carried out by Dubai-based Cherry on Top events, came to life via plexi columns topped with candles, which lined the chandelier-filled entrance walkway, to acrylic podiums filled with peonies peppered throughout the Emirates Hills property. Light boxes illuminated Savoir Flair’s photoshoots throughout the years, and a flower wall made completely of roses became a favorite place for the roster of A-list party attendees across fashion, media, art, and beyond, to snap their selfies.
Lavish canapés, from wagyu beef with foie gras to pistachio ice cream lollipops, from Dish Catering, five bespoke on-site bars created by Tonique, custom illustrations courtesy of artist Shamekh Bluwi, as well as music from Iris Lounge’s resident DJ Chris Dejenis came together to create what was a truly memorable evening – and marked a major milestone in Savoir Flair’s future and history.
