What’s on your desk at this moment?
I have had the same treasured possessions on my desk for years! I have always loved horses, and I have had this bronze horse on my desk forever. It’s by the wonderful Spanish sculptor Berrocal.

The Oxford English dictionary lives with me and I have one on my desk and in my house – I always use it as a reference. The silver magnifying glass was my father’s; it used to live on his desk. It goes on the left side of my desk on top of four of my books.
The small silver frame at the center of my desk contains a picture of my husband, Reinaldo. It is one of my favorite pictures of him.
My CH agenda is where all of my children and grandchildren’s birthdays are written. They are all color-coded. I have a small silver box that also belonged to my father. His initials (G.P.A) are engraved on it.
What’s your most prized possession in your office?
Everything I have in my office is a prized possession, because each photo and object has a special significance. My office is my second home and I want to have things that I love in it.
