Fresh lemonade is constantly on my mind during the summer and, with June fast approaching, I find myself thinking of nothing but lemons these days. This recipe for lemon blossom water couldn’t be simpler, and it only requires four ingredients. I not only use lemons, but lemon blossom water as well, which I bought from a Lebanese farmer earlier this year. For practical purposes, you can easily substitute lemon blossom water with orange blossom water. This lemonade’s aroma is reminiscent of spring and tastes just like summer, and it will keep you refreshed throughout the warm months ahead.

-
- 3 cups fresh lemon juice (about 20 medium lemons)
- 2 cups superfine sugar
- 4 cups water
- 2 tbsp lemon blossom water
-
Step 1
Pour the freshly squeezed lemon juice into a jug, making sure to leave out the pulp by running the juice through a sieve.
Add the sugar and stir well until all the sugar has dissolved.
-
Step 2
Add the water and lemon blossom water, and stir to combine.
-
Step 3
Pour in ice glasses, garnish with a lemon slice, and taste the Levantine summer!
