Enjoy Ballet

Featuring the leading ballet dancers from around the world, be enchanted by their mastery of the art form as they perform some of the most well-loved numbers from ballet’s repertoire including Petrushka, The Firebird, and Swan Lake. It’s a unique and rare chance to witness some of the biggest ballet stars under one roof.

Feel (t)irony

Muatasim Alkubaisy, the Sharjah-based Iraqi sculptor, has brought his first solo exhibition, ‘(t)irony’, to Ayyam Gallery in Alserkal Avenue. The malicious figures in Alkubaisy’s largest body of work yet represent those who have been corrupted by power. With deliberate attention to detail, a satirical touch, and with exaggerated features, the artist’s characters rise to anger at injustice and give way to judgment for their crimes against the common man.

Revive Beirut

While you’re visiting Mall of the Emirates, head over to The Theater to catch a narrative photography exhibition titled ‘Revive with Bloom’ by artist Ismat Mahmassani. Mahmassani’s images of Beirut, “The city that never wilts,” inspire hope through its contrast of things broken with things living, things abandoned with things soaring, and beautiful blooms entwining themselves back into the foundation of the walls. The exhibition is only this weekend and opens from 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, and from 11 am to 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

An Exclusive Brunch with Enrico Bartolini

Roberto’s is hosting a special brunch this Saturday and Sunday only with Enrico Bartolini, the first Italian chef to earn a Michelin star under the age of 30 – who now has a total of 9 Michelin stars. To say his food is good would probably be an understatement. But since he’s only here for this weekend, there is no better time to see for yourself.
