The 'House of Gucci' Trailer Has Just Broken the Internet
“Father, Son, and House of Gucci” – this epic moment from Ridley Scott’s much awaited House of Gucci trailer has caused quite a stir on social media. The official trailer, which released last week, was everything we expected and much more. Glitz, glamour, and scandal come together in this film – based on the bestselling book by Sara G Forden – which tells the sensational story of Patrizia Reggiani (Lady Gaga) who was tried for the assassination of Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver).
Gaga redefines 90’s glamour with a more-is-more (albeit a bit campy) wardrobe, which only she can pull off. From fur coats and dresses with shoulder pads, to gaudy gold jewelry complete with oversized glasses, to head-to-toe monogrammed Gucci outfits, the fashion in the film has us counting down days till its theatrical release.
Regé-Jean Page to Star in Paramount's Remake of 'The Saint'
We have all been mourning Regé-Jean Page’s departure from the hit Netflix show, Bridgerton. While we may not see the actor in Bridgerton anymore, he will be starring in Paramount’s reboot of The Saint. Based on British-Chinese author, Leslie Charteris‘ series of books, Page will play the titular character, Simon Templar (The Saint) – a 20th century Robin Hood who takes down bad guys. The books have seen various adaptations in both, television, and film with with stars like Roger Moore and Val Kilmer having played the role of Simon Templar in the past. We absolutely cannot wait to see Paramount’s fresh take on this classic character, especially with one of our favorite actors taking the lead.
Scarlett Johansson Sues Disney for Streaming 'Black Widow'
In a high-profile lawsuit, Scarlett Johansson has sued Disney over the release of Black Widow on its streaming platform, Disney+ while still showing in theaters. The actress alleged a breach of contract stating that she was promised a theatrical release for the film which would show in cinemas for 90 to 120 days and her compensation would largely be based on box-office performance. Disney’s decision to stream the movie online while simultaneously playing in theaters has reportedly costed Johansson over 50 million dollars. This isn’t the first time media companies are choosing to stream content online to grow their streaming service, but it often comes at the cost of actors losing out on revenue made from the box-office. The suit states “Disney intentionally induced Marvel’s breach of the agreement, without justification, in order to prevent Ms. Johansson from realizing the full benefit of her bargain with Marvel.”

Harry and Meghan's Daughter is Finally Added to the Royal Line of Succession
Harry and Meghan’s daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, has finally been added to the royal line of succession nearly two months after her birth. Born at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California, Lilibet is eighth in line to the throne. What took Buckingham Palace so long to include her in the list has been the subject of speculation, and was pointed out by ITV’s Chris Ship in his ‘Royal Rata‘ podcast. “You have got to ask what has taken them so long. All they have got to do is hit the paragraph button and put in a different number. They must have done it before. They did it for Archie. Clearly they did it for Louis when he was born. So where’s Lilibet? I can forgive them a week or two, but a month?” he says in his podcast.
Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian Reunite in Netflix's 'Cooking With Paris'
It’s official, the ‘aughts’ are back. Former party girl turned entrepreneur, Paris Hilton is once again in the spotlight, and this time it’s with her new show, Cooking With Paris which will debut on Netflix on August 4th. A blooper-filled show, Hilton is seen cooking with her celebrity friends, which include sister Nicky Hilton, Kim Kardashian, and Demi Lovato.
In the newly dropped trailer, Hilton is ‘sharing her culinary expertise’ wearing nothing other than high-fashion, and is out to cook masterpieces while having no idea what zest lemon is. Burgers are cooked with a bejeweled spatula and lemons are being cut while Hilton sports crystal-encrusted fingerless gloves. While we may not learn a thing about cooking, we can definitely expect this to be a fun weekend binge, where the fashion is good and the food is (possibly) not.
