Calling all UAE brides-to-be! TLC‘s hit reality TV show, Say Yes to the Dress is coming to the Middle East and the producers are casting for brides-to-be to star on the show. The Arabian edition is the result of a new partnership between discovery+ and STARZPLAY, which took place earlier this year. Although the show is set to launch next year, no official air date has been announced just yet.
“Brides across the Middle East are renowned for bringing an added flair to their wedding gowns. As one of TLC’s most popular franchises, we know that ‘Say Yes to the Dress Arabia’ is going to be a hit, taking things one step further as it highlights the unique pizzazz that our regional brides will bring to the show,” explains Francesco Perta, Senior Business Development and Distribution Director, Middle East, Africa, Turkey and North East Europe at Discovery.
Say Yes to the Dress started in 2007 out of a New York bridal store, Kleinfeld Bridal, which boasts the world’s largest selection of wedding dresses and stocks various designers including Marchesa, Reem Acra, and Zuhair Murad. Since the show’s inception, it has helped countless brides find their dream dress and has also led to multiple spin-offs including ‘Say Yes to the Dress UK‘ which is hosted by David Emanuel, who also designed Princess Diana’s wedding gown in 1981.
