As the World’s Greatest Show kickstarts this October, we already have multiple lists ready to help us decide what to see. However, given the sheer size of the Expo 2020 site, (4.38 sq. km, to be exact) it can be rather daunting to find out where to start. In order to make this truly a once in a life-time experience, Expo 2020 has launched a series of curated itineraries designed around visitors’ interests. Offered in half-day, full-day, or three-day formats, these tours can be guided or self-guided depending on your preference. The Expo 2020 Mobile App, which launches in September, can be used for the self-guided tours.
Sumathi Ramanathan, Vice President, Market Strategy & Sales, Expo 2020 Dubai, says: “Expo 2020 is for explorers, foodies and culture enthusiasts, for children and grandparents, for entrepreneurs, inventors and business travelers, for the casual tourist, and for the curious who want to experience the future – now. Our easy-to-access itineraries will enable every visitor to discover the game-changing innovations, world-class entertainment, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences that are relevant to them, ensuring everyone who walks through our doors has a safe experience that amazes, inspires, and excites the senses.” Here is a breakdown of the journeys.
This itinerary is designed to cover innovations like a radio satellite that can detect signals from aliens, a 4D ‘bioprinter’ designed to reproduce live cells along with fusion music, orchestral performances, as well as offbeat global cuisines.
