Dubai is like Disneyland for adults (and kids too), but it can be overwhelming and time-consuming to filter through everything our gorgeous city has to offer on the weekends. Let’s be honest, after you’ve worked all week long, the last thing you want to do is waste your precious R&R time sifting through offers and websites. Sometimes, you miss the best events because it takes too long to find them.
Savoir Flair is here to help start your weekend off on the right note. We are giving you our favorite picks for what you should be doing this weekend in Dubai. So whether it’s a much-needed day at the beach, a well-deserved spa treatment, or a day of adventure, you have never felt more on holiday than you will in Dubai this weekend.

This year they are giving their show in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Catch all the laughs this Saturday, the 24th at The Theatre in Mall of Emirates. Treat Yourself to A New Haircut and Give a Sister a Meaningful Gift
For a woman going through the arduous battle that is cancer and chemotherapy, losing her hair can be a traumatic experience. It seems silly, right? It’s just hair. But it’s not just hair. It’s so much more than that. It’s health, loss, identity, self-confidence, and most of all, fear –all these things wrapped up in one ponytail.
If your hair has been needing a little help from a professional consider going to Tips and Toes this weekend to get a fresh look and to donate your locks. Donated hair must be at least 30 cm long and of a natural color (it can be dyed – just dyed a natural color). If you donate your hair, your Tips and Toes cut is free, plus you get 30 percent off your color. Instead of watching them sweep up your fallen locks while you admire your new reflection in the mirror, watch them gather up those precious strands and donate them to the women who don’t have that same luxury.

High Tea Is Pretty In Pink
There is something so chic about experiencing a classic European High Tea in the afternoon. This weekend is the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to the sophistication and elegance of a High Tea at Aspen Cafe by Kempinski in the Mall of the Emirates.
In partnership with the Al Jalila Foundation, Aspen Cafe is sponsoring a Pink High Tea, with their signature scones, cakes, and delicious treats being served up in hues of the rosy shade and 20 different varieties of tea. It’s certainly worth an afternoon in the cozy, lodge atmosphere watching skiers race downhill at Ski Dubai while you sip a delicate cup of tea.
High Tea starts at AED 175 per person or AED 295 per couple.
Take a Leisure Walk or an Invigorating Run Along Kite Beach
Usually, during the month of October, there are several Pink Runs or marathons to raise funds for breast cancer research and awareness around the world, and certainly here in Dubai. But with COVID-19, organizing a big running event is not exactly possible. To solve this problem, UAE Pink Run has organized a virtual event for participants who want to run to save lives this year. They are encouraging people to run 31k on their own throughout the month of October –which works out to running about 1k a day.
Well, this weekend, why not skip the gym and take a run, walk, or jog down Kite Beach route? One way, and you’ve just racked up over 5k. There and back again puts you at 11k and you’re a third of the way there. It doesn’t even have to be fast. Grab a coffee with a friend and meander your way up and back again, chatting, and enjoying the cool morning sea breeze.
Whether you run, walk, or jog, every UAE resident who completes 31km during the month of October will receive a ‘REAL PHYSICAL’ Virtual Pink Run medal. Proceeds from every entry will also go to Brest Friends.
Register for the virtual run here.
