It’s (almost) here — the much-awaited moment by the fans of Netflix’s The Crown: Princess Diana’s entry. The fourth season of the award-winning drama series, which follows the lives of the British Royals – set to release November 15 – will take us through from 1977 up to about 1990. After the teaser, Netflix has released a few preview images, including those of Emma Corrin as the charismatic Princess of Wales – and we’ve got to say, the resemblance is uncanny.
In the new images, Corrin is seen wearing a lemon yellow suit set, her hair in a short crop, being followed by paparazzi. Another picture shows Corrin in a strapless purple dress alongside Josh O’Connor as Prince Charles. Much like the Princess’s life, the paparazzi cameras in the background remain constant throughout the photo series with Emma Corrin.
Olivia Colman – who will return to play the Queen for the second time – also appears in two of the newly published pictures. One of them shows her beside Tobias Menzies, who returns as Prince Phillip, while another image features her with Josh O’Connor, who plays Prince Charles. The streaming giant has also released additional photos from the upcoming season featuring Marion Bailey as the Queen Mother, Erin Doherty as Princess Anne, Emerald Fennell as Camilla Parker Bowles, and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret. Gillian Anderson will debut on the series as Former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.
