Baby Zigi's Aunties Are Already Spoiling Her
It feels like we just saw the first photos of Gigi Hadid‘s supermodel baby bump, but Hadid and her One Direction boyfriend, Zayn Malik, took to Instagram to announce news of the arrival of their new baby girl. It didn’t take long for fans and friends to rain down congratulations on the new parents for the birth of their daughter, affectionately called ‘Zigi’, as Malik and Hadid have yet to disclose her name.
Hadid has also been sharing photos on her Instagram stories of the beautiful gifts she has received from loving ‘Aunties.’ Baby Zigi has already been seen wearing a Versace sweater gifted to her by ‘Auntie Donatella‘, wrapped in a silk, pink blanket made just for her by ‘Auntie Taylor Swift,’ and Auntie Kendall Jenner has sent along a gorgeous arrangement of flowers. If only they could be our aunties too.
Huda Kattan Passes the Torch to Nathalie Kristo
Dubai-based beauty mogul Huda Kattan announced this past Friday that she is stepping down as CEO of Huda Beauty and passing the baton to Nathalie Kristo. Kattan’s name was launched in the beauty world in 2010 when she started a makeup blog. In 2013, she introduced her first line of false eyelashes into Sephora before expanding into lip, eye, and face products that are now sold worldwide and with global distributors, making Huda Beauty one of the fastest-growing beauty empires in the world.
“I’m not going anywhere,” Kattan announced. “In some ways, I will be more involved than ever before, but in areas where my attention can leave a lasting impact on our community.” Those areas include content and product development as well as continuing to nurture the online communities. Kattan will stay on as founder and chairwoman, as well as the creative vision of Huda Beauty.
Jon Snow Proves He Does Indeed Know Something
Rose Leslie and Kit Harrington, better known as Ygritte and Jon Snow, have confirmed the news that they are expecting their first child in a photo shoot that Leslie did for Make Magazine, which surreptitiously featured her blossoming bump. The smitten couple met on the set of Game of Thrones in 2012, and married in 2018. The parents-to-be have been spending isolation in a Tudor manor house in East Anglia, which Leslie refers to as “the house that Jon Snow built.” Once the baby comes, however, one can only imagine how many times “You know nothing, Jon Snow” will echo through those old, English walls.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte Meet One of Their Heroes
The Duke of and Duchess of Cambridge have shared new photos of a private meeting between their family and Sir David Attenborough in the gardens of the couple’s residence at Kensington Palace. The Duke and Sir David had a private screening of Sir David’s upcoming feature film, David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet. This comes as no surprise as both Sir David and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are united in their efforts to “tackle some of the biggest environmental challenges our planet faces.”
But perhaps happiest of all for the special encounter were Prince George and Princess Charlotte at the chance to meet one of their personal heroes. “The children are massive fans of Sir David and this was the first time they had met him, although they have always wanted to. So they were absolutely delighted, and you can see from Charlotte’s reaction in the picture how excited she was,” says a Palace aid. Prince George also received a special gift from the elder Englishman: a tooth from an extinct Megaladon, giant sharks known to have lived 23 million years ago.

Nancy Ajram Gives TikTok Concert Wearing Hussein Bazaza
On the first ever MENA TikTok stage, Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram gave a live concert to an expectant audience worldwide in a customized Hussein Bazaza wardrobe. Bazaza created five jackets for Ajram to wear during the live show, with each jacket conceptualized and designed to reflect various moods during the concert and facilitate movement throughout the set for the singer.
Bazaza continued to emphasize his eco-friendly and sustainable message by only using recycled material and old garment stock to craft Ajram’s wardrobe. The results were flattering, intricately tailored pieces full of craft and talent. A colorblock, cropped bomber jacket with a ribbed waistline, cuffs, and high neck in tulle, a shimmering, beaded blazer repurposed from a dress in the SS19 collection, and a reversible baseball jacket monogrammed with the singer’s initials were some of the standout pieces.
The full concert can be seen on Ajram’s Youtube page.
Burberry's New Campaign Reflects on Freedom and Escape
Burberry Chief Creative Officer, Riccardo Tisci, has created a new campaign which takes a walk down memory lane and explores the spirit of discovery championed by founder, Thomas Burberry. Tisci reflects on past memories in an “attempt to define future ones” and crafts a collection inspired by freedom and escapism.
In a nod to gabardine, the twill fabric invented by Burberry that enabled the explorations of pioneers as they set off into the unknown world, the new collection harkens back to the days of adventurers like Amelia Earhart. Tisci stays true to Burberry’s signature characteristics of beige palettes, trench coats, and tailored duffle coats, but mixes the brand’s rich history with flashes of modern touches such as new prints, fabrics, and contemporary silhouettes.
With the natural world as a backdrop, Tisci’s vision holds that dream-like quality where the possibilities are endless and adventure awaits.
