Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston Share a Moment
Some of the biggest stars in Hollywood came together via Zoom last week to livestream a charity event for the nonprofit organizations CORE and REFORM Alliance. To raise money for emergency COVID relief and criminal justice reform, respectively, celebrities like John Legend, Morgan Freeman, Shia LaBeouf, Matthew McConaughey, and Julia Roberts conducted a hilarious table read of the famed 1982 teen dramedy Fast Times at Ridgemont High. But, even with so many A-listers present, the Internet only had eyes for Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt during the event.
Fifteen years after the power couple went through a divorce, the public still clings onto hope for a reunion. Every micro-interaction between them is dissected, every lingering glance assumed to be flirtation. At the beginning of the virtual table read, the former couple greeted each other casually by their last names, “Aniston” and “Pitt”, while Morgan Freeman looked on with a wide grin. Social media melted down over the moment, particularly later on in the table read when the two shared a steamy fantasy scenario from the film.
It’s just that…the “honey” held so much power and confidence alongside authentic warmth you know? I am meant to be editing something but let me just dash out 1000 words on that Jen x Brad interaction because I can’t stop thinking about it

Cardi B Files for Divorce from Offset
Cardi B’s life has been a roller coaster since her single “WAP ft. Megan Thee Stallion” topped Billboard’s ‘Global 200’ charts, became the number one song on TikTok (complete with its own dance challenge), topped the Rolling Stone ‘Top 100 Songs’ chart, and became the highest-streamed song in the world. If the success of this song is the peak of the roller coaster, the announcement that she has filed for divorce against spouse Offset is a valley.
The couple first split in 2018 following allegations that Offset was unfaithful, but quickly reconciled. However, it wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine. Over the weekend Cardi B went on Instagram Live to clarify the reasons behind their recent split, saying, “I just got tired of f–king arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye… Nothing crazy out of this world happened. Sometimes people really do f–king grow apart.”
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Passes Away
A light has gone out in the world. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg – a trailblazing crusader for women’s rights – died over the weekend at age 87 from pancreatic cancer. Many viewed her as one of the only people with enough power to stem the tides of judiciary abuses inflicted by the current US presidential administration.
With her seat now vacant, a battle has begun to announce a new Supreme Court Justice before America’s November 3 elections, although if the Republicans push through a new appointment, the act would directly violate the position they embraced in 2016 when refusing to consider the nomination of Merrick Garland made by President Barack Obama. Regardless of the potential political battle to come, Ginsburg’s death is a tremendous blow, and was remembered by millions on social media, including the cast of Hamilton, Obama, Brie Larson, Barbra Streisand, and many others.
In remembering her legacy, we leave you with one of our favorite quotes by her: “Women belong in all places where decisions are being made. It shouldn’t be that women are the exception.”
That woman died with so much pressure on her shoulders, and she won’t even be mourned like a human. She’ll be mourned like a defense wall that crumbled.

Leighton Meester and Adam Brody Welcome Their Second Child
Former Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester and former The OC star Adam Brody are one of Hollywood’s most private married couples. They’re so private, in fact, that when it came to the birth of their second child together, they didn’t make an official announcement. Instead, Brody went on Twitch’s Hold the Phone TV’s The Fun Time Boys Game Night Spectacular to play a round of trivia games and casually announced that he and his wife had just welcomed a new son to the family. Meester made no announcement at all, and kept her social media focus on her work with Feeding America. Regardless of how the news came out, congratulations are clearly in order for the Meester-Brody family.
