David Harbour and Lily Allen Tie the Knot

David Harbour (45), who plays the beloved character Jim Hopper in Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things, tied the knot with British pop singer Lily Allen (35) in Las Vegas last week. The unlikely duo first started dating in 2019, and clearly connected over a shared sense of humor. When Harbour posted the couple’s wedding photos to Instagram, he self-effacingly described the event saying, “In a wedding officiated by the king himself [the two were married by an Elvis impersonator], the people’s princess wed her devoted, low born, but kind credit card holder in a beautiful ceremony lit by the ashen skies courtesy of a burning state miles away in the midst of a global pandemic.”

Star of Stranger Things Millie Bobby Brown replied to Harbour’s Instagram post saying, “hopper is cuffed. wow. dad im proud!!! love u n sooo happy for u,” to which his new bride hilariously responded, “go to your room”.


Kerby Jean-Raymond Launches New Platform with Kering Group

Luxury group Kering and Pyer Moss designer Kerby Jean-Raymond have come together to create a new fashion platform for up-and-coming generations of fashion, music, art, wellness, and philanthropy innovators. Originally set to be launched in March 2020, Your Friends in New York (YFINY) is now set to debut in 2021. YFINY will act as a talent incubator that supports a diverse mix of creatives, while simultaneously focusing on social issues like public housing and mental health.

What are they passionate about, even when the world has titled them “successful.” For example, what new sounds are Rick Rubin and Just Blaze experimenting with that they aren’t ready to share with the world? What inventions are Evan Spiegel and Mark Zuckerberg holding onto in their garage? What script is Spike Lee hoping to do that he doesn’t think will get supported? What’s Satoshi Nakamoto working on? For Elon Musk, during his early days building PayPal, his mind was on SpaceX and Tesla. — my mind has been here, and I’d like to introduce you to my venture “Your Friends In New York.” We promise to be imperfect but always willing to try. Balenciaga Debuts Exclusive Playlists on Apple Music

A new lifestyle layer has been added to Balenciaga’s offerings with the announcements of its exclusive playlists on Apple Music. Artistic Director Demna Gvasalia tapped influential artists to create original playlists, launched in companionship to limited-edition Balenciaga product releases. Each artist represents someone who inspired Gvasalia in his life, and each was asked to share their own musical universes with the Balenciaga community. The resulting playlists will be available exclusively via Balenciaga’s curator page on Apple Music. 

Along with each playlist, a collection of limited-edition products inspired by these chosen artists will be available to purchase in select stores and on Balenciaga.com. These items loosely reference the merchandise and backstage gear found at live music venues or clubs. To launch the new series on Apple Music, Gvasalia himself created the first playlist out of music he listens to every day, which clocks in at 13 hours. Alongside his “Hello, My Name is Demna” playlist, Balenciaga has launched an oversized T-shirt bearing a graphic with the same phrase, available now at the Balenciaga store at Dubai Mall.

Audemars Piguet Partners With Ralph & Russo

Luxury jewelry house Piaget celebrates the 30-year anniversary of its iconic ‘Possession’ collection with a beautiful campaign. First unveiled in 1990 with a yellow gold ring featuring a turning band that signified the ritual gesture of twisting one’s rings, the style has become a cornerstone for the maison. The original collection was shot by the famed fashion and portrait photographer Richard Avedon, and in homage to the original campaign, the new ‘Possession’ 30-year anniversary release has been captured by Avedon’s grandson Michael Avedon.
