Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Announce Pregnancy
There was something different about John Legend’s new music video for his single “Wild”. Co-starring his wife Chrissy Teigen, the romantic video proffered plenty of sweet moments between the power couple, but the final scene caught fans off-balance. At the end, the couple embraced, and appeared to be cradling Teigen’s midsection. Everyone took it to be that Teigen and Legend were expecting their third child. Suspicions proved correct as Teigen took to Twitter to detail the announcement.
Teigen and Legend have two children already, Luna and Miles, who were both conceived via IVF. Teigen confirmed that she thought it would be impossible to have a child naturally, but took a pregnancy test once a month, although it was, “Just wishful thinking. I never had a positive before.” The couple found out the day of Legend’s album release, making the emotions shared by the couple in the music video all the realer, and all the sweeter.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama shared her thoughts on this historic moment via Instagram, saying, “I’ve been thinking about all those girls growing up today who will be able to take it for granted that someone who looks like them can grow up to lead a nation like ours. Because @KamalaHarris may be the first, but she won’t be the last.”
