While making plans for the weekend feels like a thing of the past, the next few days might be an exception. Earlier this year, K-pop sensation BTS had to indefinitely postpone its world tour as the pandemic started to spread at an alarming rate. However, the boy band is not one to disappoint its fans (or ARMY as they are known). Yes, attending a live concert currently feels like an impossible dream, so BTS is offering fans the next best thing: a virtual concert series.
Entitled Bang Bang Con, it will stretch over two days – Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 – and can be streamed for free on the band’s YouTube channel. The concert series will run from noon (KST) onwards, allowing the ARMY to enjoy past concerts ranging from 2014 performances to the Seoul leg of the Love Yourself world tour in 2018. Oh, and feel free to shriek with excitement if you’re stuck in quarantine alone.
