On behalf of fake doctors everywhere, we want to thank the actual healthcare superheroes on the front lines of this crisis. On this #worldhealthday please consider donating to buy essential resources for these first responders who are risking their lives for us. Not all superheroes wear capes – some wear scrubs. There’s probably nothing we can do today that would compare to the relentless efforts of those on the frontline in the fight against coronavirus, and “fake doctors” agree. In a recent video posted on Instagram by actress Olivia Wilde, reel-life doctors came together virtually to express their gratitude to real-life doctors everywhere.
The former House star spearheaded the video that sees the likes of Sarah Chalke, Sandra Oh, Patrick Dempsey, Kal Penn, and Jennifer Garner amongst others say a big thank you to the healthcare community. Part touching, part funny – courtesy of Neil Patrick Harris, of course – it also urges viewers to donate to the First Responders First fund, which provides “essential supplies, equipment, and resources for protecting frontline healthcare workers”. Because now is truly the time to give back – will you?
