So much more than a set of golden pipes, Lady Gaga is on fire in the fight against coronavirus – the popstar has already raised a whopping $35 in only seven days for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. But she’s not even close to being done.
Gaga is joining forces with World Health Organization and Global Citizen to spearhead One World: Together at Home, a virtual concert that will feature performances by music bigwigs such as Elton John, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Chris Martin, and more – alongside Gaga, of course. But the event is not intended to be a fundraiser. Instead, the idea is to “celebrate and encourage the power of the human spirit”, according to the popstar. The concert will be broadcast live on social media on Saturday, April 18. Find more details here.
