We’re not even halfway through January, and 2020 is already shaping up to be a stellar year for Ashley Graham.

Not only is the curve supermodel gracing magazine covers and due to give birth to her first child any day now, but she has also just announced another major project: a bridalwear collaboration with Spanish brand, Pronovias. Called Ashley Graham x Pronovias, the 16-piece collection will be launching worldwide in spring. And as you would expect given the American model’s history of championing body positivity, it’s size-inclusive, available in up to UK size 38.

“From shopping for the perfect wedding dress to the big reveal on your special day, women should feel confident and empowered throughout the entire process,” Graham says. “When I shopped for my wedding dress 10 years ago, I had difficulty finding a style in my size that fit well and made me feel special. It’s necessary for the bridal industry to be an advocate for inclusivity and body diversity, and therefore I’m honored to partner with the luxury leader Pronovias to offer beautiful and comfortable options in many sizes and styles.”

Posting on Instagram, the 32-year-old explained that when she got married, she had to compromise on her wedding dress because she couldn’t find the perfect style in her size. “I found a silhouette that I loved, but I had to accept major details I didn’t want because there was nothing in that shape that fit me – and it wasn’t even the right size! We ended up adding a panel to a size 10 dress off the rack so it would fit my 14 frame to make it work,” she wrote.

The range promises to embody the supermodel’s sophisticated and modern aesthetic while delivering improved structure and fit for all sizes. “We are thrilled to announce this amazing collaboration with Ashley Graham,” commented Amandine Ohayon, CEO of the Pronovias Group. “Her advocacy for body positivity aligns seamlessly with the Pronovias promise to find the perfect stylish fit for every woman. We are also proud to lead the bridal conversation on inclusivity as we firmly believe that everyone should be able to find their dream dress, whatever their size is.”

Photos of the full collection haven’t been released yet, but from the preview shots, it looks to be diverse in terms of design, too, ranging from minimalist strapless dresses to long-sleeved lace-covered gowns and tulle-embellished styles – plus a white two-piece suit. Brides-to-be will be able to discover the Ashley Graham x Pronovias range when it launches at boutiques and wholesale partners worldwide in March.
