The World Gets a Closer Look at Baby Archie

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor (a.k.a. baby Archie) is one of the world’s most famous babies, but we hadn’t gotten a good look at him – until now. He joined his parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, on their jam-packed royal tour of Africa, and it was in a meeting with Desmond Tutu and his wife that we finally got to see baby Archie in all of his infant glory. It turns out, he’s the spitting image of his father, but if you ask us, he has his mother’s eyes.

Demi Moore Reveals All in Shocking New Memoir

From Ghost to G.I. JaneDemi Moore’s early career moved from strength to strength. However, it was her tumultuous public life that garnered the most media attention. From her divorce with Bruce Willis to her marriage with the much younger Ashton Kutcher, Moore has experienced her fair share of controversies.

Now, we’re getting to hear about it all from her perspective, with the publication of her recent memoir Inside Out, which includes bombshell reveals of why her marriage to Kutcher really ended and her recovery from substance abuse addiction. While the media has once again made fodder of the more salacious aspects of the book, in reality, her writing is raw and real. We grew up thinking of Moore as a trailblazer for female actors, and her vulnerable memoir has only made us respect her more – not less.

Burj Khalifa Lights Up for the 25th Anniversary of ‘Friends’

Nobody does it bigger, or better, than Dubai. While the whole world celebrated the 25th anniversary of Friends, the city was leagues ahead of the competition. With a massive synchronized light show, complete with accompanying songs and snippets from the show, a heartfelt tribute to the beloved sitcom took over the Burj Khalifa. It was a see-it-to-believe-it situation, so we’ve included the full clip, below.

Hermès Launches New Version of its Iconic ‘Twilly’ Perfume

Hermès has launched a new version of its iconic ‘Twilly’ perfume called ‘Twilly d’Hermès Eau Poivrée’, and recently held a high-end soirée in Dubai to celebrate. The imaginative party brought out the region’s VIPs and influencers to enjoy multiple thrilling activations and a music-drenched afterparty.

The password to get into the party was “pink peppercorn”, which also happens to be the spicy note that differentiates ‘Twilly d’Hermès Eau Poivrée’ from any other perfume we’ve ever smelled. This rich, heady scent is cut by a recognizable whiff of peppercorn, which mixes delightfully with rose and patchouli. Playful, unpredictable, and versatile, it truly wakes up your senses – and is available at regional Hermès boutiques now.

Gisele Bündchen Is the New Face of Dior 'Capture Totale'

Although Gisele Bündchen has retired from the runway, she hasn’t given up her modeling career entirely. In fact, she has just been tapped as the new face of Dior’s ‘Capture Totale’ skincare collection, which is set to launch globally in 2020.

Claude Martinez, President and CEO of Parfums Christian Dior, shared his thoughts as to why Bündchen was the ideal pick, saying, “The perfect embodiment of healthy beauty, our new spokesmodel is the icon of wellness, generated by a unique idea of healthy and purely authentic beauty…Today, we are celebrating a supermodel glowing with health, who is an accomplished, stunningly beautiful woman, and of course, the iconic muse of conscious beauty, who joins us to convey and celebrate the house of Dior values.”

Karl Lagerfeld Remembered with a Traveling Exhibition

Karl Lagerfeld once famously said, “If you ask me what I’d most like to have invented in fashion, I’d say the white shirt. Everything else comes after.” Beyond the white shirt being a part of his personal signature, it was also a central figure in his designs for his eponymous maison. A traveling exhibition called The White Shirt Project has been making its rounds in the wake of Lagerfeld’s tragic passing. Participants like Alessandro Michele of Gucci, Olivia Palermo, Cara Delevingne, and our region’s own Ingie Chalhoub have contributed designs.

At Paris Fashion Week, Maison Karl Lagerfeld and Farfetch worked together to throw an extravagant party celebrating The White Shirt Project. If you want to own a piece of fashion history, pieces from the tribute are available now on karl.com and farfetch.com. All proceeds will be donated to the Sauver la Vie charity initiative for medical research at Paris Descartes University.
