La Vie En Rose by Malick Sidibé
My assistant gave me this book for Christmas and it’s a great source of inspiration for shoots. I love the juxtaposition of the prints, backdrops, and stoic poses.
I met this French artist years ago at a flea market. I reconnected with him on a recent trip to France and commissioned two very large works. I can’t wait to hang one in my office at Moda Operandi’s new location.

Charlotte Olympia Wicker Zehava Handbag
I just bought this bag for spring. I’m obsessed with the fact that it’s acrylic made to look like wicker.
Carven Guipure dress
The lace on this dress is fantastic. I also love the cutout detail in such an unexpected place.
Illesteva Lennox sunglasses
Nothing says “bring on the sun” like a great pair of sunglasses. I’ll be wearing these all summer.
Rochas pencil skirt
This year, I vowed to attempt a more ladylike style. This Rochas skirt is my first try, and I’d say it’s pretty successful.
Zilla was one of my favorite discoveries from a trip to Florence last summer. These reflective bags are the perfect shock-and-awe accessory.
