It’s hard to imagine a more inspiring way to celebrate International Women’s Day than by sharing your craziest dreams with women so powerful they crushed just about every obstacle in their way.
Following the launch of its viral ‘Crazy Dreams’ campaign narrated by Serena Williams, Nike hosted an inspiring panel in Dubai on International Women’s Day with some of the region’s top female athletes. These included Yasmin Baker, the first Emirati aerialist, Houriya Taheri, the first Arab woman to receive a professional football coaching license and the Head Coach of the UAE Women’s National Team, and Tracy Harmoush, an entrepreneur and athlete who gave up a ten-year career in finance to found Untraceable, a company that encourages people to get outside of their comfort zones.
In the brand’s new Dubai Mall boutique, the atmosphere was one of power and sisterhood as the panelists shared their personal stories and experiences. Afterwards, guests were invited to write down their crazy dream in front of a witness, officially committing to fulfilling it, before personalizing a Nike sports bra.
