Unable to attend the Brit Awards in person, the Carters appeared in a pre-taped acceptance speech for winning best International Group – and it included a completely unexpected cameo.
Behind the duo in the video, below, a portrait of the Meghan Markle was prominently featured. Winning for their joint album Everything Is Love, Beyoncé and Jay-Z recreated a scene from the monumental “Apesh*t” video, except they’re in an undisclosed location – not the Louvre – this time around. As for the stunning portrait of the duchess? Painted by American illustrator Tim O’Brien and replacing the Mona Lisa.

In a gorgeous yellow-ombré suit by Peter Pilotto and with her long locks pinned back, Queen Bey celebrated the win and congratulated the mom-to-be on her pregnancy in another Instagram post.
