They grow up so fast.

Prince George celebrated his fifth birthday yesterday, and the world has responded by sharing their thoughts on the official portrait taken by Matt Porteous. But it’s not so much how he looked (cheeky, as always) or what he wore (a preppy button-up with blue trimming), but where he was posing that has everyone still talking: against a humble brick wall in the garden of Clarence House, a stark contrast to the grandiose settings used for royal portraits.

And while July 9th was all about the newest member of the royal family, we were too busy looking for yet another priceless face expression on George. Here, in honor of his fifth birthday, we look back at some of his most adorable moments to date.
