Cartier Partners with "Ocean's 8"
Following its commitment to bold women and bolder designs, Cartier has announced its exclusive partnership with the film Ocean’s 8. The Cartier Mansion is prominently featured in the film, and the luxury label was the exclusive on-site jeweler at the Met Gala, where the film’s heist takes place.
Cartier was also tasked with creating a bespoke set of jewels (or “parure”) for the film, which included the ‘Jeanne Toussaint’ necklace worn by Anne Hathaway. The necklace was the target of the heist, created by Cartier to Hathaway’s exact measurements, and featured cascading diamonds reminiscent of its 1931 design created by Jacques Cartier himself for the Maharaja of Nawanagar.
