Victoria's Secret Annual Show Runs into Attendance Problems

Victoria’s Secret has run into massive problems with its Shanghai fashion show, which is set to on November 28, 2017. Performers like Katy Perry and supermodels like Gigi Hadid have been banned from entering the country after being denied visas by the Chinese government. Julia Belyakova, Kate Grigorieva, Irina Sharipova, Adriana Lima and others have also run into problems with entry. While Perry has been replaced with Harry Styles as one of the live acts, there is still no news on who will replace the models who are unable to walk in the show.

Venerated Couturier Azzedine Alaïa Passes Away

Over the weekend, the fashion world was shaken by the terrible news that one of its most creative talents had passed away. At the age of 77, Azzedine Alaïa, died, leaving behind a 50-year legacy as one of fashion’s most innovative, insightful, and independent couturiers. Deliveroo Launches Airport Service in Dubai

Deliveroo has partnered with Dubai Airports to launch the region’s first delivery service of its kind. The initiative, called DeliverooDXB, allows users to have food delivered straight to their boarding gates within minutes of ordering. Participating outlets include Costa, Giraffe, Carluccio’s, McDonald’s, Paul, Pulp, and Le Pain Quotidien.

Miranda Kerr Announces Her Second Pregnancy

Earlier this year, Miranda Kerr got married to Evan Spiegel, one of the founders of Snapchat. The duo have wasted no time in starting their family, and shared a pregnancy announcement over the weekend. This is Kerr’s second child, and first with Spiegel.

Stuart Weitzman and Gigi Hadid Launch their Second Shoe Collaboration

‘#EYELOVE’, the second Stuart Weitzman collection designed in collaboration with supermodel Gigi Hadid, launched in stores over the weekend. It features two different styles of mules emblazoned with the evil-eye symbol. “I’ve really been into slides lately and wanted a pair that can take me into fall. The evil eye is a powerful symbol meant to protect those who wear it from negative energies. It’s emotionally comforting and beautiful and captivating to look at,” shares Hadid.

The shoes, named the ‘EYELOVE’ and ‘EYELOVEMORE’, also celebrate Stuart Weitzman’s commitment to build three schools in partnership with Pencils of Promise, a charity that builds schools, trains teachers, and funds scholarships.

Serena Williams Ties the Knot

Serena Williams is having a banner year. Not only did she win the Australian Open while eight weeks pregnant back in January, but she also gave birth to her daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., in September. Now, she and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, have officially tied the knot over the weekend at a celebrity-filled wedding in New Orleans. Famous friends like Ciara and Kim Kardashian were in attendance, and the bride was a radiant picture of calm and joy throughout the proceedings.

Gucci Launches Arabic Language E-Commerce Site

Gucci has officially launched a new Arabic version of its e-commerce site in the UAE, as well as an e-commerce site in Saudi Arabia in both English and Arabic. The new localized Gucci e-shopping experience will feature full collections, including handbags, shoes, and accessories.
