There are some interesting culinary concepts flooding the Dubai F&B scene at the moment, from an internationally renowned organic burger joint in Dubai Festival City Mall to a completely chocolate-centric haunt in City Walk that happens to be homegrown. Discover the five new Dubai eateries that are worth knowing about, below.
Set to make its debut in Dubai Festival City Mall in October, Bareburger will serve a menu of meats that tick all of the organic boxes – free range, pasture and humanely raised, and free of antibiotic, gluten, and hormones. The franchise, which currently has 37 outlets across the world, offers diners who prefer a bespoke burger the option to choose their patty, bun, veggies, sauce, and spread. Also available are delicious menu staples such as the farmstead burger that features sweet potato, wild rice, baby kale, avocado, and green hummus within a healthy collard-greens wrap.

Not to be confused with Cocoa Room, this new homegrown eatery focuses on one single ingredient: chocolate. Creative chocolate-centric dishes include carpaccio of venison with baby beetroots, white chocolate, horseradish, sweet orange, and beetroot jam as well as french fries with cacao nibs and creole spice. Head Chef James McDonald (whose experience includes helming the kitchens of London’s The Greenhouse, La Noisette, and La Petite Maison) wants the world to understand through his dishes that chocolate can be way more than just a dessert ingredient – a lesson we’re more than willing to indulge in.
