Mirage, the world’s leading Italian manufacturer of porcelain stoneware, is launching its first international “design hub” in Dubai Design District (d3) by the name of Mirage Project Point Dubai. Set to open on October 24th, the initiative will offer a meeting and consultancy space to design professionals in the region.
According to Tanya Pearson, General Manager of Mirage Middle East, “Mirage Project Point Dubai provides a versatile, multi-functional platform that design professionals can use for meetings, presentations, and talks outside of their own offices. It also provides a useful meeting place to designers who are not based in d3 or the UAE, where they can come to work or simply have a coffee and chat. Our doors will always be open to help serve the needs of the thriving design community here.”
Explaining the idea behind this multifaceted space, Pearson adds, “After operating in the Middle East for over two decades – working with architects and interior designers on interior and exterior applications that have helped form many iconic hotels, government buildings, entertainment parks, and residences – it’s now time to give something back to the design community.”
Mirage Project Point will have the capacity to host 60 to 80 people at a time and will be decked out in Mirage’s award-winning porcelain stoneware. It will also feature swing seats, digital prints, and a luxury ‘Jewels Suite’ conference room available for private meetings.
