Despite the fact that furniture designer Nada Debs’ studio is based in Beirut, her space incorporates elements of her multi-cultural background; fabrics from Japan (where she grew up) and housing materials from across the Middle East were just some of the things we spotted. In fact, Debs’ diverse upbringing has become a signature of her design aesthetic.
She studied in the US before launching her company in the UK and then relocating to Lebanon, where she now lives and works. These global influences led her to begin designing arabesque-style furniture crafted with unique techniques adapted through her travels. (Fun fact: she initially started designing furniture as a hobby.) Join Savoir Flair inside Debs’ atelier in Beirut for a peek into the life and mind of this talented creative.
