What happens when you give a fashion office one of the most expensive and luxurious cars in the world? Here’s a hint: It doesn’t involve a race track. Rather, we put the new Rolls-Royce ‘Dawn’ through a typical week in our lives, from designer interviews and hair-styling sessions to trunk shows and conference calls.

Here are eight things you probably never thought would happen in a Rolls-Royce.

1

Got a braid while going 100km/h on Sheikh Zayed Road with the top down

There's literally nowhere the amazing JetSet team can't braid your locks.

2

Had a conference call with the US on the Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway

Despite being a soft-top convertible, the Rolls-Royce 'Dawn' is surprisingly quiet, thanks to an innovative tailoring technique that ensures there is no noticeable wind noise.

3

Conducted a quick-fire interview with Nadine Kanso

Read on for a glimpse into the mind of one of the region's leading creatives.

And managed to fit them all in the trunk.

5

Al Ijaza Cafeteria is a Dubai institution. Make sure you order the 'Hassan Mathar' sandwich.

6

Hosted a pop-up trunk show (literally) with Endemage

Designer Lubna Al Zakwani was on hand to talk us through the brand's beautiful new designs. "Fall/Winter 2016 was inspired by the nature of Oman. It was mostly focused on the wadis and natural rivers of the country," she explains.

7

Played the new Beyoncé album on loop

The 'Dawn' boasts 16 individually-tuned speakers, and its system uses incredibly sensitive technology to monitor ambient noise and adjust the volume accordingly.

8

Because why not?
