The author of eight cookbooks, a rotating judge on popular US television show Chopped, and a former private chef to Claudia Schiffer, Valentino, and Tina Turner, Silvena Rowe is a culinary tour de force. Over the next few weeks, the accomplished chef will share her cooking secrets with Dubai residents at Top Chef Studio with a series of raw, vegan, and paleo cooking classes.
In Rowe’s ‘Raw to Glow’ class, participants will discover how to create dishes including pistachio and spinach quiches, pad thai with almond and chili dressing, mango tart with walnut cream, sunflower-seed falafel with vegan zaatar, and paleo mini chocolate florentines.
With two specialty restaurants in Dubai, Omnia Gourmet, which focuses on gluten-free and paleo offerings, and Omnia by Silvena, which serves traditional Emirati dishes with a creative twist, such as Emirati lobster sliders marinated in green shawarma spices, Rowe prides herself on fresh, sustainable ingredients and lives by the motto “Health is wealth.”
Classes cost AED 475/SAR 484, and participants who book three classes will receive a reduced rate of AED 1,200/SAR 1,225 plus a goodie bag worth AED 400/SAR 408.
