This weekend, Good Vibes Market, the brainchild of Dubai-based entrepreneurs Kenza and Patrick Jarjour, wants you to channel your nostalgic side. The platform aims to celebrate the community and encourage local vendors to “spread the good vibes” by hosting regular food-oriented events.
On March 4th, head to the food and activities market, which is being co-organized with shoe brand Vans in Alserkal from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m., for a lineup of musicians and DJs, a pop-up barber shop, video arcade games, and even a boxing ring, all of which are intended to pay tribute to the culture of the 80s and 90s. Additionally, the event, which is free to attend, will host a “charity laundromat” where used clothing donations will be collected.
You’ll find vendors such as Meat & Co, Bubbles & Boba, and Falafel Farm for your food cravings, as well as the opportunity to pick up a print from design hub Toil & Tinker and have a pair of Vans shoes customized at the brand’s pop-up skate park.
