It’s official: Dubai Marina just got a little more delicious thanks to the opening of South Korean concept Milkcow in Trident Grand Residences tower. The soft-serve ice cream company, which first opened its doors in 2013 in Malaysia, has quickly expanded throughout Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, before arriving in Dubai just last week.
So what makes Milkcow’s soft serve so special? To start with, the ice cream is made from organic, preservative-free milk sourced fresh from Italy. This can then be paired with toppings such as cotton candy, sea salt, jelly beans, and a gooey chunk of natural honeycomb plucked from honey farms in Sydney and Tasmania. Stop and just let that sink in for a second. Not happy with any of those options? Go ahead and create your own bespoke soft-serve creation using any of the 14 different menu options.
What’s more, according to the brand’s website, Milkcow’s ice-cream batches are replenished after three days, as opposed to other soft serves that can last up to a month as they are made from powdered milk and a medley of other unpronounceable ingredients like maltodextrin, pyrophosphate, and tetrasodium. Milkcow, however, skips the addition of these questionable items to its swirls, which results in a particularly decadent, dense, and creamy texture. In other words, this is pretty much the Beyoncé of Dubai soft serve. Unparalleled.
