Link Global Group has begun work on an ambitious project in Dubai known as Taj Arabia. According to the development company’s website, the project, which will cost $600 million to complete, will result in a property that echoes the grandeur of India’s Taj Mahal, the famous white marble mausoleum located in Northern India on the banks of the Yamuna river.

400 luxury hotel rooms, thousands of high-end retail stores spread out across 1 million square feet, and a number of residential units are all part of the Taj Arabia plans, with the renderings suggesting it will be at least two times the size of the original Taj Mahal structure.

The property is set to open in 2018 as part of the 3.8 million square meter Falconcity of Wonders on Emirates Road. Alongside Taj Arabia, The Wonders project will see the recreation of all seven wonders of the world, including the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Great Wall of China, and the Eiffel Tower.

Link Global Group is already referring to the Taj Arabia as “the wedding destination of the world”, and the theme of celebrating love will be at the heart of the property’s ethos, from the architecture to the design of the many indoor and outdoor wedding banquet rooms available.
