Shoes aside, this weekend’s Sole DXB was on radar for culinary reasons. The two-day event ushered in some delicious pop-ups, including legendary New York food outpost Miss Lily’s. The Caribbean-inspired menu offered dishes such as hot peppers with shrimp, jerk chicken, and banana cream pudding. Luckily, Dubai residents will be able to get a more permanent taste of being transported to the tropics when Miss Lily’s and Melvin’s Juice Box Dubai opens in early 2016.
