“Healthy hair is beautiful hair, and leading a healthy lifestyle affects almost every aspect of a woman’s appearance. When it comes to taking care of my locks, I protect them from water impurities, UV rays, heat, and over-washing and -styling, which is quite challenging with my lifestyle! My two magic treatments are the ‘Caviar’ and ‘Hair Botox’ at Amro Ladies Salon, which I alternate every two weeks. It’s an investment, but worth every dirham! I also don’t dye my hair. My hair is my identity and I don’t change it much.”

“I swear by the Brazilian Blowout products. I also recommend using a leave-in conditioner to stop hair from going frizzy from the humidity. I let my hair air-dry as often as possible, and I also avoid using irons.”

“I can’t live without Oribe and Kardashian Beauty hair products. I love Oribe’s ‘Gold Lust’ shampoo and conditioner, and I always finish my look with its texturizing spray. Then I use the Kardashian Beauty ‘Black Seed Dry Oil’ and a root spray when I blowdry. When in Dubai, I always get my hair done with Mika Alam or Jack Gaaz at the Joe Raad Salonin DIFC. They’re the best at understanding which hairstyle is right for an event and which complements my outfit. I usually always wear my hair down, but sometimes a loose up-do is a nice look too!”

“For events, I can always trust the team at Vanilla Salon for blowdries and nails. I call them my glam team! Honestly, in this humidity, I leave my hair to the professionals. If you’re blowdrying your hair at home, I recommend investing in good tools. I love my Frederic Fekkai brushes, which I buy in New York, and my Jose Eber curling wand.”

“If I’m going to a big event, I always get a blow-out by Iraia or Theresa at Marquee Salon in The Lakes, because I know they’ll make my curls last. If it’s a smaller event or I don’t have the time, I’ll add Oribe‘s ‘Dry Texturizing Spray’ or a dry shampoo to my roots for some lift, then I’m good to go!”

“When it comes to my hair, I try to avoid using any products, as I like to keep things natural. Every two weeks or so, I use the Macademia Hair ‘Deep Repair Mask’ in the shower, letting it work on my hair before rinsing it out.”
