“I always choose my outfit last minute according to my mood, so I like to have options,” Samar Seraqui de Buttafoco shares with Savoir Flair.
The petite Paris-based blogger behind UneLibanaiseaParis.com is explaining the gorgeous, white, embellished shirtdress hanging in her hotel room. It’s the morning of the Chanel Fall 2015 Couture show, and Seraqui de Buttafoco is grabbing a quick breakfast – zaatar and labneh, true to her roots – in her duplex suite at the Hotel Fouquet’s Barrière. The extreme heat wave that has taken the French capital hostage this past week has forced her out of her flat in search of a cooler place to call home – at least for the time being.
Of the two looks she pulled from Chanel, the self-described “style traveler” has opted for an open-back crop top and high-waisted trousers. She looks radiant and fresh-faced, having just applied an orange-tinted lipstick in ‘Insoumise’ from the ‘Rouge Coco’ range, which she used on both her lips and her cheeks. “I always apply makeup with my fingers on my eyes, lips, and cheeks. And I never wear foundation; I think it’s a shame to cover the face’s grain,” she shares when we ask her about her makeup look. She has also mixed three shades of ‘Stylo Eyeshadow’ to achieve her smoky eye, finishing her look with a touch of ‘Le Blanc de Chanel’. “It lightens up my face as if I were wearing a pearl necklace. I like makeup that reveals the face’s features without ever covering them,” she adds.

Samar applies a lipstick from the pigmented and easy-to-wear ‘Rouge Coco’ range in a coral-red, summer-ready shade called ‘Insoumise’.
Her fresh, summery eye makeup look was achieved using the ‘Stylo Eyeshadow’ in three different shades, ‘Campanule’, ‘Laurier Rose’, and ‘Caroube’.
In her bag, she carries the ‘Lèvres Scintillantes in Rose Paradis’, a gloss with an intense pink shade and blue shimmers.
