Beauty fans are packing their makeup bags, stashing their skincare routines, and getting ready to head to Abu Dhabi. Retail Abu Dhabi – the retail platform of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi – is launching a new beauty destination in the capital city of the UAE with the inaugural Abu Dhabi Beauty Week. Running from February 4 to 14, the debut Abu Dhabi Beauty Week will feature an impressive line-up of exclusive pop-ups by leading beauty brands like Benefit Cosmetics, interactive masterclasses hosted by international and regional brands beauty experts, and exclusive activations at YasMall and The Galleria Al Maryah Island.

“The inaugural Abu Dhabi Beauty Week will be the go-to event of the year for beauty consumers with incredible experiences and new-to-market products being featured alongside established brands and talents from around the world. This exciting new initiative is a statement of intent that underlines Abu Dhabi’s efforts to become a leading global destination for all things beauty,” said HE Ali Hassan Al Shaiba, Executive Director of Tourism and Marketing at DCT Abu Dhabi.

Leading beauty brand, Benefit Cosmetics has partnered with Retail Abu Dhabi to host several on-ground activations during the course of the premiere Abu Dhabi Beauty Week. A The brand – renowned for its eyebrow products – will also conduct a Brow Masterclass hosted by brow artist Yara Ayoob on February 12 at the Yas Mall Beauty Hub, among other activities.

Beauty fans can experience a series of fun masterclasses at the Beauty Studio in Yas Mall during Abu Dhabi Beauty Week including skin analysis and customization sessions with Lancôme’s skincare and makeup experts, the ‘Flawless Face’ masterclass by Laura Mercier, and a winter skincare guide from the experts at Kiehl’s.

Interactive beauty sessions will also be hosted by major luxury brands like ValentinoYSL BeautyGiorgio ArmaniGucci Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, GuerlainShiseido, RedkenBulgari, and Fenty Beauty.

The fun hardly ends there. The highlight of the event is the Abu Dhabi Beauty Week Retreat – a three-day-long beauty and wellness retreat hosted at the Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Resort from February 11 to 13. The expert-led program will focus on wellness activities like yoga, meditation, high-intensity cardio sessions among others. Global beauty and wellness personalities such as Nike brand ambassador Manal Rostom, calisthenics, and personal growth coach Marina Violinha, Australian yoga practitioner Stephanie Millman, and boxercise instructor Sara Al Sayegh will lead the retreat.

Abu Dhabi Beauty Week also aims to introduce the Emirate to new, innovative beauty brands like MDO, the brainchild of celebrity dermatologist Simon Ourian, buzzy Korean clean skincare brands like Haru Haru Wonder and ILIA Beauty, award-winning makeup brand Kevyn Aucoin Beauty by celebrity artist Kevyn Aucoin, popular cosmetics brands like Stila and Beauty Bakerie, and the cruelty-free Parisian fragrance brand Solinotes. Ethical skincare brands like RanavatAmlyPure Earth, and Mauli will also be featured at the Abu Dhabi Beauty Week. 

Apart from this, beauty enthusiasts can also expect exciting beauty promotions at the Al Wahda Mall, Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi Mall, and other participating malls in Abu Dhabi city and Al Ain.

Abu Dhabi Beauty Week will also feature a new reward program in partnership with Etihad and Visa where every eligible spend over AED 200 using an Etihad Guest Visa card in participating stores will automatically enroll shoppers in draws to win Etihad Guest Miles.

As part of Abu Dhabi Beauty Week, three lucky winners stand a chance to win 5000 dirham shopping vouchers which they can spend at the Abu Dhabi Mall. All you need to do is answer the question below.
