Singer, songwriter, and recently turned beauty mogul Alicia Keys is celebrating her 40th birthday today. In the duration of her career, Keys has blessed our playlists with many a tune to vibe to. Now, the singer is determined to enrich our beauty regimens with her soul-nourishing skincare line, Keys Soulcare

Keys’ launch is beyond your run-of-the-mill topical skincare brand – it is a holistic mind, body, and soul-nurturing wellness experience. A staunch believer in the power of rituals, with her skincare line, Keys hopes to honor the art of setting an intention and bring a more mindful approach to skincare.

Speaking about her skincare line, Keys says, “Beauty is your inner radiance. It’s about frequency, energy, and how you feel. Skincare is about loving yourself. It’s totally connected to the care of your soul. We’ve been working to get these skincare formulas just right, and I’m so excited for you all to try these. They will turn your daily routine into a personal ceremony.”

To develop Keys Soulcare, the singer partnered with dermatologist Dr. Renée Snyder, who is also the co-founder of W3LL People. Aptly named “Soulcare,” the cruelty-free wellness brand has self-love and self-acceptance at its very core. In line with the brand’s mission, each Keys Soulcare product comes with an affirmation motivating users to focus on themselves, affirm and rewire their inner belief system as they go about their skincare. The debut product range – which includes a cleanser, exfoliator, a hydrating mask, a face mist, a lip balm, and a face roller – is meant to transform the way we tend to our skin. The singer also hopes to delve deeper into conversations about inner beauty and wellness with her newly-launched skincare brand. 

Formulated with skin-nourishing minerals and botanicals, Keys’ brand is goes above and beyond skincare in its traditional sense. In an increasingly wellness-driven world, she stands a chance to totally disrupt the beauty industry.
