As we usher in the spring season, images of blossoming blooms, flower-filled gardens, and pretty petals come to mind. And someone who shares our sentiment is Chanel’s Global Creative Make-Up and Color Director Lucia Pia, whose latest makeup collection for the house is inspired by – you guessed it – all things flower power. Introducing ‘Les Fleurs De Chanel’.
Inspired by the hues and texture of petals, Pica paid homage to Mother Nature’s delicate creations while exploring the plant realm held so dear to Mademoiselle Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel, revealing “I wanted to study each flower individually, to bring out the elegance and personality of each one”.
Aside from the iconic Chanel camellia, she also looked to peonies, pansies, sweet peas, and irises to create a collection full of light, luminosity, and colorful creations centered around a palette of pinks, reds, and corals with splashes of luminous gold. Think: glowing skin, pops of coral blush, bright and bold rosy pouts, and copper-washed eyes. The ultimate springtime combination? We think so.
Discover the dreamy new collection through these inspirational images – shared exclusively with Savoir Flair – and get ready to welcome in the new season, flower style.

Skin
For a gorgeous summer glow, apply the blush high on your cheeks and dust the highlighter across your cheekbones. Sweep the brush along the bridge of the nose and the places where the sun naturally hits your face for a fresh, sun-kissed effect.
Eyes
When it comes to petal-perfect peepers, you can use one, two, three, or all four shades from the eyeshadow palettes. Apply in layers for a more intense, long-lasting result, and use the metallic shades on top for a sensual look. Darker shades can be used as an eyeshadow or eyeliner to sculpt and define the eyes, and you can blend and soften the edges using the medium shades.
The multi-tasking ‘Ombre Première Laque’ can be used as a high-shine shadow, as a highlighter, or on top of the ‘Les 4 Ombres’ shadows. Try two shades together — the light shade on the inside and the dark shade on the outside of the eyelids for a dazzling two-tone effect.
Complete your eye look with a slick of the coppery brown ‘Le Volume de Chanel’ mascara in ‘Metal Terracotta’.
Lips
For a statement smile, load lips with the ‘Rouge Allure Laque’ using the flat side of the applicator before using the tip to define the lips. For a softer, blurred effect, try the ‘Rouge Allure Velvet Extrême’ lipstick. Apply straight from the bullet, leaving the edges soft, or use a lip brush for a more precise and defined line.
Nails
No look is complete without a bold mani, which is where the ‘Les Vernis’ polishes come into play. Choose from a soft peach, metallic red, or a light raspberry hue to transform your nails in a flash. Et voilà – your flawless floral-inspired look is complete.
