As we bid farewell to summer and welcome in the cooler winter months, we’re not only switching up our wardrobes but our fragrances, too. The only problem? Finding that perfect balance between something a little deeper and richer and a scent that’s sensual but not too sweet is no easy feat.
But, just in the nick of time, Chanel has gone and launched a new version of its iconic ‘Coco Mademoiselle’ fragrance that has new-season scent written all over it. Enter: ‘Coco Mademoiselle L’Eau Privée’ – a softer, more seductive version of the original that is perfect for a winter evening.
“’L’Eeau Privée’, a light and delicate version of ‘Coco Mademoiselle’, is a fragrance for night, like a watercolor or a soft, hazy veil for the skin and sheets”, describes Chanel’s in-house perfumer Olivier Polge, who toned down the woodiness to create an oriental scent inspired by a watercolor masterpiece.
Bathed in soft notes that bring light and brightness to each bottle, this new olfactory offering sees a splash of citrus, a touch of sensual patchouli, a soft floral accord of jasmine and rose, and a mysterious musky facet come together to entice and seduce with each spritz.
Speaking of which, this isn’t a sensual treat for your skin, but for your favorite pjs or silky nightgown, too. Designed to be sprayed around your bed, onto sheets, into your hair, and to scent your sleepwear, this is so much more than a perfume – it’s an intimate evening experience. If you ever needed an excuse to cancel those dinner plans and to indulge in the ultimate nighttime routine, this is it. #donotdisturb.
