Skincare is big business, with 2019 alone seeing celebrities like Victoria Beckham, Kylie Jenner, and Millie Bobby Brown all jumping into the fray and releasing their own products. You can see why: with literally millions of fans and followers between them, they have plenty of fans desperate to know the intimate details of their lives.

Celebrity skincare lines are essentially a look into their daily routines, giving us a chance to replicate their looks. Sure, it’s worth remembering that stars tend to have a bit more at their disposal in the quest for clear skin – read: expensive potions, fancy facials, and access to experts worldwide. However, there are some famous faces we still want to drop a skincare line, just so we can get a bit of their glow at home.

1

Zendaya

Zendaya’s skin is basically the epitome of a California cool-girl glow. She gives off the vibe of being low-key and low-maintenance, and what could be better than that formulated into a skincare line? In 2017, she told W magazine there was a beauty myth she’d like debunked: “Just ‘drinking more water’ does not replace a skincare routine. It’s good for you, no doubt, but it will not make all your blemishes disappear overnight, especially for those with problem skin.”

Alexa Chung

Alexa Chung is an English rose, with clear skin almost iridescent in how glowing it is. Korean Beauty has become famous for the trend of ‘glass skin’ – skin that is perfectly clear and bright – and Chung could really take this trend and add her own signature style and wit to a skincare line. She has already established a fashion line, so surely skin is next? The fact that Chung’s skin is still so phenomenal – despite the well-known fact that she’s a smoker – makes us even more keen to know what her secrets are.

Jennifer Lopez

There’s a reason it’s called the “JLo glow” – at 50, Jennifer Lopez has some of the most luminescent skin in the business. Like many women who talk about skincare, she stresses the importance of sleep and wearing SPF. Yes, we can all get on board with that, but we’re also desperate to know what combination of serums she uses. Surely that glow can’t just be down to getting a solid eight hours?

Priyanka Chopra

Beauty-queen-turned-actress Priyanka Chopra is an obvious choice for this list. It’s no wonder she has already been tapped to front other skincare lines. She currently promotes Obagi, a science-led skincare range that’s all about diversity.

Gabrielle Union

Let’s face it: at 47, Gabrielle Union looks basically the same as she did in her 20s. Like Lopez, she’s aging backwards – and we want to know how she does it. She has spoken to Elle about having oily skin, so we’re curious to know how she tackles this problem. Union also isn’t shy about putting effort into her skin, often posting funny videos on Instagram of herself wearing sheet masks.

John Legend

Sure, this is a very female-dominated list, but have you seen John Legend’s clear and glowy skin? We think someone’s been tapping into his wife’s beauty cabinet – and clearly we’re not the only ones who’ve noticed.
