It feels like only yesterday that women everywhere bonded over just how horrifying Bella Thorne’s skincare routine is – if you can call it that. Now, less than two weeks later, the skincare routine of another star has managed to go viral and, again, not in a good way: Millie Bobby Brown.
The Stranger Things star took to the YouTube account of her new makeup and skincare brand Florence by Mills to demonstrate herself using its ‘Get That Grime’ scrub, ‘Clean Magic’ face wash, and ‘Dreamy Dew’ moisturizer – except that she didn’t actually use any of them. Both viewers and her fans alike were baffled at the fact that she faked a skincare routine, pointing out the audible sound of her bare, dry hands making contact with her bare, dry face. Oh, and the fact that her makeup is intact all the way to the end of the video.
Admittedly, the young star – she’s not even 16 yet – handled the backlash with grace, recently taking to Instagram to post this apology of sorts. It’s a lot more than we can say for the confidence with which Bella Thorne dubbed moisturizer “crazy”.
