This week’s best celebrity beauty looks make a case for bright eyes, with turquoise blue being a particularly strong contender, thanks to both Taylor Hill and Isabela Moner. But leave it to Kim Kardashian to sweep in and steal the limelight with a ‘more is more’ approach (complete with extreme contouring, of course). Who will end up inspiring your beauty look this weekend? Voice your favorite in our poll, below.
With celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo behind that face, and celebrity hairstylist Joey George behind her locks, it’s no wonder Kim Kardashian has earned a spot on this list. Her slicked back hair allowed the sunset hues on her face to take center stage, with those sharp lines on her cheeks contrasting beautifully against her soft but structured eyes.
That big, beautiful bouffant – courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Chad Wood – aside, it was this Allan Avendaño creation that made us take notice of Isabela Moner this week. The makeup artist shared the secret behind that flick on his Instagram account, revealing that he mixed the blue eyeshadow in the NYX ‘Ultimate Shadow Palette in Brights’ with the brand’s ‘Multitasker Mixing Medium’ to create a makeshift gel eyeliner. As for that lip color? The new ‘Lip Lingerie Push-Up Long-Lasting Lipstick in Bedtime Flirt’.
You don’t need a bold makeup look when big, bushy, gorgeous eyebrows are doing all the talking, as evidenced by Lucy Hale. Complementing the various shades of purple in her sequined minidress was a subtle smoky eye in lavender (with the shadow extended out well beyond the lids for added effect) and pale-pink lips, both rounded off perfectly with that textured, chin-length lob.
Another Hung Vanngo masterpiece resides on this list, this time spotted on Swedish model Elsa Hosk. Rightfully entitling the look “orange crush”, the makeup artist brought her pale, freckled skin and striking blue eyes to life with darkened brows, champagne shadow, peach blush, and a statement pout in tangerine orange. Meanwhile, hairstylist Benoit Moeyaert left her locks sleek, straight, and simple – simply perfect.
Model Taylor Hill doesn’t need much makeup. It’s no wonder, then, that makeup artist Kale Teter kept most of her beauty look on the natural side, with dewy skin, a sweep of blush, and pink lips – except for those bright-turquoise eyes, of course. Celebrity hairstylist Danielle Priano followed suit, giving Hill wet-look locks that were pulled away from her face.
