There’s no denying that nothing can transform a makeup look – or mood for that matter – as much as a slick of lipstick. But while we love a strong statement smile, what we don’t love is flaky color and tight, dry lips. That’s why we couldn’t quite contain our excitement when Dior announced its new ‘Rouge Dior Ultra Care’ line. Luminous matte lipsticks that simultaneously boast incredible pigments, last for 12 hours, and look after lips? We couldn’t have asked for more. Even better? We’re sharing a sneak peek of the new launch with these videos shared exclusively with Savoir Flair.
The secret behind these new lip lovers lies in that unique white “CD” core, which contains a new nourishing ‘Ultra Care’ blend that hydrates, strengthens, and protects your pout. The first plant oil-infused lipsticks created by Peter Philips, there’s fatty acid-rich cameline oil to nourish alongside a derivative of jojoba oil extract that strengthens the barrier, prevents the loss of water, and deeply hydrates. Gliding on super smoothly, they’re available in a garden of petal-soft shades ranging from bright peony pinks to rich rose reds.
But there’s more, because liquid lipsticks are also in the mix. The new ‘Rouge Dior Ultra Care Liquids’ are formulated with cameline and sweet almond oils as well as shea butter that has been preserved with a highly technical cold-fabrication method. What that means for you is a velvety, light-as-air mousse texture that stays put – all day long, at that. We’re officially making space on our makeup shelves for these.
