If you’re longing to escape the scorching summer heat and relentless humidity, you’re both not alone and in for a treat. There’s nothing better than losing yourself in the bold and beautiful world of celebrity hair and makeup and, thanks to Savoir Flair’s round-up of this week’s best beauty looks, all it takes is a little scroll. Even better? You can determine the winning look, all with just the click of a button in the poll, below.
Emily Ratajkowski
We’re not sure which we love more: Emily Ratajkowski’s smudged-out smoky eye or her textured bob. But we can safely say, we’re seriously into them both. Debuting a short new ‘do and a sultry makeup look at the Tony Awards, she had us ready to make brown our new eyeshadow of choice – and chop off our locks with reckless abandon. But did you figure out it’s just a wig?
Isabela Moner
It’s official: actress Isabela Moner is our summer makeup muse. Teaming a hot-orange lip with gleaming golden eyes, beautifully bronzed skin, and a naturally tousled updo, she ticked all the beauty boxes (and then some). If you, too, are lusting after that eye color and lip look, pay a visit to Allan Avendaño’s Instagram account. The makeup artist revealed all the products he used, including Pat McGrath’s ‘Gold 001’ microfine pigment and MAC’s ‘Lady Danger’ lipstick.
Mandy Moore
But when it comes to frosty feels, no one did it better this week then Mandy Moore. Donning a glitzy Galvan London gown and icy blue eyes, complete with spidery lashes and a touch of silver shimmer, she exuded Ice Queen vibes. But to keep things fresh and feminine, she added a touch of flush thanks to peachy-pink blusher and a natural lip.
Martha Hunt
Makeup artist Georgi Sandev described Martha Hunt’s look at The Fragrance Foundation Awards as “smoky chic”, and we couldn’t agree more. Pairing a classic, soft smoky eye with a loosely waved low-slung pony, she effortlessly stole the spotlight on the red carpet. Sandev’s secret? “I used a dark brown long-lasting gel eyeliner blended with a dark brown cream color makeup for a perfectly blended, smooth, and long-lasting finish.”
Selena Gomez
Speaking of smoky eyes, how stunning did Selena Gomez look at The Dead Don’t Die premiere this week? Hung Vanngo created a subtle – but very striking – smoky look with a palette of grays and browns before loading her lashes with thick, fluttery falsies. Skin was kept simple with just a touch of peachy blush, complemented perfectly by a creamy nude lip and brushed up brows. A textured updo later, she was good to go.
