Kiehl’s is a brand that has not only built a reputation for its incredible skincare products, but is also synonymous with clean, pharmaceutical-like branding that seems to hold the solutions to life’s biggest beauty problems. So when Kiehl’s Middle East recently took to Instagram to share a teaser video for an upcoming Ramadan collaboration – one filled with whimsical illustrations of flora, fauna, and a mysterious curly-haired girl – we knew something cool was cookin’.
Building even more anticipation around the surprise, the brand let us know that the collaboration would be part of a charitable campaign led by its global Kiehl’s Gives initiative, with all proceeds being donated to the UAE-based charity Al Jalila Foundation, an organization dedicated to research and treating children in medical need. Who doesn’t love a good shop-and-give-back?

Upon the release of this limited-edition collection’s photos, it was clear that this was not just a great initiative, but also an artistic collaboration worth collecting. With the help of Lebanese illustrator and regular Gucci collaborator Nour Flayhan, the brand has completely revamped some of its bestsellers, transforming the ‘Midnight Recovery Concentrate’, ‘Creamy Eye Treatment’, ‘Calendula Herbal Extract Toner’, and ‘Crème de Corps’ into forever art pieces for your beauty shelf.
Wrapped in illustrations inspired by themes of Levantine nature and the lavender bushes of Flayhan’s late grandmother’s mountainside home, each product is also met with a recurring image of a young woman who is olive-skinned and has wild curly hair and thick eyebrows – an ode to the artist’s younger self and those who felt underrepresented growing up. We’ll have more of this please, Kiehl’s.
The Kiehl’s x Nourie collection is now available at the Kiehl’s boutique in The Dubai Mall and Kiehl’s counter in Bloomingdale’s-Dubai.
