Between the dust storms, some relentlessly strong winds, and a rainy start to the week, we’re all complaining about the weather – except it’s actually justifiable, for a change. The plus side is that it’s full-on spa weather. But we won’t recommend just about any treatment. We think it’s time you booked in for one of the dreamiest, most decadent spa treatments in the city. Enter: ‘The Way to Heaven’, a rather aptly named session that entails two hours of top-to-toe pampering at The Spa at Address Boulevard. Still not convinced? Well, this may just change your mind.

First things first, and that’s the spa’s seriously sought-after location. Tucked away in the luxurious Address Boulevard Hotel, it boasts breathtaking views of Downtown and the Dubai skyline, and is just a hop and a skip away from The Dubai Mall (perfect for a post-spa shopping refresher). Massages with a side of Burj Khalifa views? Served up, right here.

With over 760sqm of serene space, there’s everything from Finnish saunas and experience showers to steam rooms and a stunning outdoor spa pool on offer – so be warned, you’ll never want to leave.

But the star of the spa show has to be the all-encompassing ‘The Way to Heaven’ treatment, during which you’ll be scrubbed, massaged, and masked to – well – heaven. Taking place in one of the stunning spa suites, with the lights dimmed low and a soothing soundtrack playing, the experience begins will a full body scrub using an invigorating silk protein polish. Every inch of you will be gently buffed and scrubbed to not only remove dry, dead cells, but to enhance skin tone and prepare skin for the nourishing oils used in the next step – the massage.

But this no ordinary massage, this is a hot stone massage – which uses smooth, heated stones to warm you from within, release muscle tension, and improve blood circulation. Just the ticket on a cold, blustery day. It’s even been proven to help with sleep problems, depression, and anxiety. The stones are placed down the spine and along pressure points, and – along with natural La Sultane de Saba oils – are used to deeply massage stress and tension away. Like we said, heaven.

And just when you thought things couldn’t get any better, it’s on to the hydrating facial. This is a completely bespoke service, depending on you and your skin’s needs, which are determined after a thorough examination and consultation with your expert therapist. The products of choice? Carita Paris’ ‘Lagoon’ range, which harnesses the perfecting powers of Polynesian lagoon water and exotic fruits to load skin with minerals and micro-nutrients.

Deeply hydrating, anti-aging, and revitalizing – after layers of serums, creams, and a moisturizing mask – it’s impossible not to emerge with a gorgeous glow, visibly plumped skin, and looking ten years younger. Whatever the weather, come rain or shine, this is the treatment to book for a full body refresh.

‘The Way to Heaven’ at The Spa at Address Boulevard is priced at AED 919 for 150 minutes. To book or learn more, click here.
